P.I.A STORY

On 23rd October 1946, a new airline was born. Initially registered as a pilot project in Calcutta, Orient Airways Ltd. had at its helm Mr. M.A. Ispahani as Chairman and Air Vice Marshal O.K. Carter as General Manager. Singapore Air-Lines

SIA Story
The history of Singapore Airlines dates back to 1 May 1947, when a Malayan Airways Limited Airspeed Consul took off from Singapore's Kallang Airport on the first of three scheduled flights a week to Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Penang. Over the next two decades, the Airline steadily acquired more planes. There were additions of the DC-4 Skymaster, Vickers Viscount, Lockheed Super Constellation, Bristol Brittania, Comet IV, and the Fokker F27. On 16 September 1963, the Federation of Malaysia was born and the Airline became known as Malaysian Airways. In May 1966, it became Malaysia-Singapore Airlines. Later, the new look of the Airline evolved further with its first Boeings - three B707s, then a fleet of B737s.

HISTORY OF BHOJA AIR

On 7th November 1993, a historic moment emerged in the Aviation history when Bhoja Air, an airline with a vision of the future operated its inaugural flight between Karachi, Lahore and Quetta, with a dry lease Boeing 737-200 aircraft and registered its name as the first private airline in Pakistan to operate with a Western manufactured aircraft.Bhoja Air, a privately owned airline with a reputation for reliability, service and punctuality gets its heritage and pedigree from the Bhoja Group of Companies. Just over twenty years ago, Emirates was born as the official international airline of the United Arab Emirates. On 25th October 1985, Emirates flew its first routes out of Dubai with just two aircraft—a leased Boeing 737 and Airbus 300 B4. Then as now, thier goal was quality, not quantity, and in the years since taking those first small steps onto the regional travel scene, Emirates has evolved into a globally influential travel and tourism conglomerate known the world over for thier commitment to the highest standards of quality in every aspect of thier business.
